Nii Quaynor graduated from Dartmouth College in 1972 with B.A (Engineering Science) and received a Ph.D (Computer Science) in distributed systems in 1977 from S.U.N.Y at Stony Brook. He worked with DEC, U.S.A from 1977 till 1992 and returned to Ghana to establish the first ISP operated by Network Computer Systems in 1993.

Nii had earlier in 1977 established the Computer Science department at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

Nii is the Convener of AfNOG, a network technology transfer institution since 2000 and founding Chairman of AFRINIC, the African numbers registry

Nii taught microprocessors with International Center for Theoretical Physics in several developing countries.

Nii served on several Boards including ICANN,  UN ICT Task Force,  IGF-MAG, NITA-Ghana.  He is a member of  GhiPPS and NIA Boards, Patron – ISOC Ghana Chapter, Chairman, ICANN Strategy Panel, Public Responsibility.

Nii remains the Chairman of GDC and a Professor of Computer Science at University of Cape-Coast, Ghana.

Nii received the Internet Society’s prestigious Jonathan  Postel Service Award for pioneering work to advance Internet in Africa,  December 2007. He was also inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in August 2013 for his pioneering role in the development of the Internet in Africa.

Kazeem Oladepo

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Licensed Telecoms Operators of Nigeria (ALTON), the industry body for all communication Companies in Nigeria.

He has 12 years of experience in digital media across business development, product management and digital marketing and having worked in India, UK and for the past 6 years in Kenya and Ghana. He has previously worked at Nation Media Group,, Yahoo Jagran and The Times of India group in various capacities. 

Agastee holds a Masters Degree in Finance and a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Carl Sackey

Carl Sackey is widely connected in all the major Ghanaian enterprise or corporations and has a firm understanding of how business is conducted in Ghana. Carl is a real pleasure to work with. He is currently the Product Development Manager at Ghana Community Network Service Limited.

Akua Nyame-Mensah

Akua Nyame-Mensah has a Masters in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in Growth and Structure of Cities from Bryn Mawr College. 

Lionel Orishane

Spearhead’s current Chief Technology Officer, started his working experience with Unilever in 2002 as a Production Operative, where he was privileged to gain exposure in all process of Inbound Logistics to Outbound Logistics (The Supply Chain Process - Planning, Manufacturing and Control perspective) while in Unilever Nigeria Plc and Studying in the university.

Unilever inculcated in him the virtues of a team player with leadership spirit, and applying several statistical and information technology book learning to his work while in Unilever and in the university made him successful at the start of his career path. The drive (collaboratively with teammates) to put any business on the road to win inch-by-inch has being inculcated in me through the years. Applying the acquired knowledge of Sales & Operation Planning process, Management Information Systems amid others like developing and maintaining organizational MIS (Management Information System).

He loves researching, system analysis and participate in high level consulting to optimize business processes, secure IT enterprise or proffer lean business process for improved business services. His actively worked in the IT industry from 2005 from being an IT support technician, to a network associate and then a Software Developer (Java platform) and even as a Trainer in the World recognized IT training Institute – New Horizons as a Software Engineering Lead & Trainer.

Stephen Boadi

Stephen Boadi is a digital marketing expert with over 13 years’ experience working for businesses and agencies such as Sony (UK), HSBC, Abbey National, Bradford & Bingley, Investec, uniBank, CHRISAACH and Wembley (London). Henry Osborn Quarshie

Henry was involved in the Computerisation and re-engineering of a number of state and private institutions from 2000- 2008.Namely-Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, Ghana Standard Authority, Registrar's General Department, and a number of District Assemblies.

Between the years 2003-2008, Henry was a Resource person at the National Banking College, Accra. Where he trained ICT managers and staff of Banks in Ghana in detecting, protecting and removing malicious programs in a computer Network and Computer forensics. In 2013 he had the opportunity to train the investigation staff of EOCO in computer forensics, a World Bank project. Henry Lectures at the following institutions, Regent University and GIMPA, He lectures the following courses, Computer Forensics, Computer Security, Cyber Law, E-Commerce & Business.

Henry has published over ten scholarly research papers which has received over 15,000 readings and citations worldwide. Some of the research papers that have received worldwide readings are, ' Fighting cyber Crime in Africa, Using ICT to Fight Crime and Ethical Challenges in a Computerized Society'. Daniel Asare-Kyei

Daniel has unique mix of professional experience, from international development to entrepreneurship to rich scientific career. Daniel has been active in promoting the use of ICT in Africa’s agricultural sector. He was the chief facilitator for Ghana’s first Spatial Data Infrastructure for agribusiness ( and has spent the last 10 years developing and deploying technologies for Africa’s agricultural sector.

Daniel bridges the gap between the BoP realities and technological innovations and has unique ability to translate technological solutions to solve real-life problems affecting smallholders. As the managing director for Esoko, he manages Africa’s largest Market Information System (MIS) and e-extension services in Ghana and has been at the forefront of developing new technologies set to drive Africa’s green revolution.

Daniel has a double master’s degree in Geo-information Science from the University of Twente, the Netherlands, and first Class bachelors in Agricultural Economics from Ghana’s KNUST. He is also a fellow of the United Nations University-EHS, Bonn-Germany since 2012 and now                                                               completing a doctorate degree in assessing the risk to natural hazards induced by climate change.
